The City of Cranston provides curbside Refuse and Recycling collection to its residents in one, two, three and four-family dwellings. Pickup occurs once per week, and residents should have their refuse, recyclables and yard waste on the curb no later than 6:15 am on collection day, but not before noon the day before.
The City uses an Automated Collection system using City provided specially marked roll out carts. Waste Management will only pick up rubbish and trash placed in the grey and blue carts. See sub-pages directory for discussion of Other Trash Items, hazardous waste, white goods and yard waste.
