As required every three years by state law, Cranston has undergone a city-wide Property Revaluation, and has contracted Vision Government Solution, Inc. to complete the project.
Cranston Residents will receive a property assessment letter in the mail. Please refer to the information on the letter for any questions, such as scheduling a hearing regarding the new evaluation.
DO NOT APPLY THE CURRENT TAX RATE TO YOUR NEW ASSESSMENT. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN AN INACCURATE CALCULATION OF FUTURE TAXES. THE NEW RATE WILL BE DETERMINED IN THE SPRING OF 2024.
To request a hearing regarding your new evaluation, follow the instructions below:
You MUST have your PID number and SCHEDULE ready – it can be found at the top right of your letter.

Call Vision Government Solution, Inc. at 1-888-844-4300 between 9 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Please note: call center operators making the appointments are not qualified to discuss values or parcel data and can only assist in setting a hearing date and time.
Informal phone hearings will be held by appointment only. The Representative from Vision Government Solutions, Inc. will contact you at your scheduled time.
In-person hearings will be held at the Cranston Senior Center (1070 Cranston Street)
