Mayor Ken Hopkins announces the Cranston Neighborhood Tree Planting Program is accepting applications for the 2024 spring planting schedule. The program is free to all eligible property owners - including homeowners, small business owners, and non-profit organizations.
Residents may help beautify Cranston by applying for a free, seven-foot-tall native species tree, which will be planted by a professional nursery! Trees must be planted in the front yard, but not between sidewalks and the curb.
The program is funded by the city and coordinated by the West Bay Land Trust.
